We made hair ties with pieces of ribbon, tie dye socks and paper beads. They were some cool projects!

What a fun experience!!

Our next meeting will take place October 15th. We are going to be making a trip to VandeWalle's candy store. We ask that the girls please do not bring any extra money out of fairness to everyone. They will be getting a candy sample plus an ice cream cone. Thanks for your cooperation.

It was a lot of fun listening to all of the girls talk about their hobbies!

There is a Brownie meeting tomorrow after school in the Art Room. We will be talking about hobbies. So, come prepared to share your favorite hobby.

Well, we officially kicked off our Brownie year this past Friday. It was great to see the girls again, a lot of past girls and even some new. Glad to see some new faces. We have changed to the Art Room this year, so that gives us a whole new feel. We earned our Science Projects Try-It badge by doing some really fun experiments. We watched polymer cubes grow after putting them in water, made polymer worms, made snow and blew up a bottle of Coke by putting some Mentos mints into the bottle. They all seemed very excited! By starting up this blog, I hope to remember my camera at each meeting and share pictures with all of you.
